'The Eternal Beauty of Malan Breton https://www.malanbreton.com/ If there is one thing that Malan Breton seems to love, it is the love for eternal beauty. The care to detail in his collections is admirable – his designs are like an unfolded movie that creates an excitement via fabrics, cuts and glamour. There is a ‘je ne sais quoiof ‘factor on this designer that captivate your heart – he is a dreamer creative and a multifaceted genius so far one of my favourites, we also had the chance to interview him for our channel and it was a delight. Here more information about his AW2017 collection. ‘Malan Breton showcases two collections this season, his Malan Breton collection showed at New York Fashion week at Madison Square Gardens and his Fantome collection was showcased in London at the Freemasons Hall. Malan wrote “The New York collection reflects the current affairs in America, it is completely devoid of colour, as I feel the arts, and fashion, are being crushed here by the new regime. It is no longer a place of freedom, and this has hurt many. Leaving us feeling cold and lost. Especially those of us who emigrated here, who no longer feel welcome,. The NY collection symbolises death and the end of a love affair with hope.” Malan’s speaks of his Fantome collection that he has chosen to show in London in a more hopeful and calming tone, “The colour palette for London and the patterns are reminiscent of Chinese watercolours and imperial prints in wood stain colours, and classic green, with tonal elements of pewter and apricot. The silhouettes are like liquid, second skins to the body, the suiting details inspired by pagodas in Taiwan, and an ode to the future, in an Orwellian fantasy...” Malan Breton’s New York collection was shown at Madison Square Gardens in front of 5000 people, the only other two designers to show here have been Kanye West and Tommy Hillfiger. The New York show was a political reflection, a performance and a huge message.’ @malanbreton / #malanbretonlfw'
