'Subscribe to Fashion Snapz! Aspinal of London was founded in 2001 by current Chairman Iain Burton. The Creative Director of Aspinal is Mariya Dykalo, who graduated from the Lviv Academy of Art and Design. Aspinal began by designing and manufacturing handmade small leather goods and hand bound leather books using small workshops and artisans in England and Italy. After five years as an online retailer, Aspinal opened its first store in Selfridges, London, and by 2016 Aspinal has opened nine stand-alone stores in London, and stores in Selfridges and Harrods,opening its first international store in Kuwait in January 2013. Aspinal launched its first handbag \'The Paris Bag\' in 2008. It also designs bags for men as well as a wide range of men\'s and ladies\' wallets, accessories, travel bags and travel accessories, office and business accessories such as briefcases. In addition, Aspinal produces stationery items including diaries, journals, photo albums,[1] and other items such as passport holders[2] and other travel accessories.[3]'
