'\'& by\' is a collaborative project between bag designer Dorrith de Beer and fashion designer Irma Borgsteede. Both designers are inspired by modern architecture, are fascinated by construction and work with pure, rich materials. This is also recognizable in the individual work of both designers. The strong interaction between the two designers has led to an innovative collection in which bags & jackets can be fully integrated with each other. As functionality is never lost out of sight; both items can be used independent of each other but together they form a powerful and timeless design. Wear - apart - together. This designers duo has the objective to keep production of their concept fully in the Netherlands. This from the pursuit of fair production as well as the creation and maintenance of jobs in their own country (fair made in holland).'
