'September 24, 1958 Original script On the social scene, one of the outstanding fashion showings of the season...the ninth annual Couturier Fashion Show, held Wednesday in the colorful Crown Room of the Hotel del Coronado. A sampling of the styles...winter wheat trimmed with natural silver blue mink, designed by Charles Cooper...and here, the Empire line in pale beige Rosella crepe designed by Oleg Cassini. Behind the scenes glimpse of what the professional models do between appearances...a fast sprint to the dressing room where in a matter of minutes they make a complete change...most husbands would find this hard to believe...then back to the stage, right on cue...The women\'s committee of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra association sponsors the show. Here was a favorite..honey colored wool misted with brushed mohair, designed by Mister Mort. Another of the favorites, this wool crepe dress with tunic look by Helen of California. The feathers, by leading American Millinery Designers. Howard Greer\'s white silk chiffon trimmed with silver bugle beads. In the audience, actress Marla English. Flowing coral silk chiffon by Irene. Styles were presented by Marston\'s Department Store. The grand climax was a wedding party with bridesmaid dresses by Priscella of Boston and the beautiful bridal gown by Cahill.
