'A Gold Coast runway recently played host to a spectacular marriage of fashion and technology for one of Australia\'s very first 3D printed fashion shows. Featuring the creations of award-winning Malaysian designer Melinda Looi, following their showings in Paris, London, Tokyo and Milan, the event was presented by Griffith University, Materialise, QMI Solutions and Q-WIN. Griffith University would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Materialise and the featured designers - in particular Melinda Looi and Niccolo Casas - for their generosity in sharing the three collections (Melinda Looi: Birds, The World Collection and the Japanese Collection). Griffith University would also like to thank the staff and students whose work was shown in the 3D Printing Fashion show and who contributed to bringing it to the Gold Coast. Our thanks also to Katz Model Management.'
