'In the new collection, Darja Donezz is thinking about romanticism through the prism of Gary Ross’s iconic motion picture ‘Pleasantville’. In the static world of Pleasantville, color is starting to appear, and each of its inhabitants begins to discover new feelings given by nature. The same for Darja Donezz’s outfits that become brighter with each new look on the catwalk. Palette: powdery shades, milky, gray, fuchsia, ocher, coral, laurel. Prints: floral, striped. Key pieces: feminine dresses, iconic bustier-tops, trouser sets, layered skirts, appliqué tops. Materials: natural wool and silk. Also in this collection, the designer used a unique nunofelting technique : using natural felt, threads and lace, to create beautiful texture effects on the fabric. Darja Donezz’s romanticism is not just about pretty outfits. Looks have rebellious nature; it is a kind of protest against ordinary routine as well as idealization of the past.'
