'MILAN — Palazzo Reale is no longer the seat of power it once was for centuries, but Friday night Donatella Versace restored some of its grandeur, at least over the course of two limited installments of the Versace women’s Fall / Winter 2018 runway show. This vibrant collection was meant to clothe the mythic Versace Clans, which the Italian luxury brand, now in its 40th year, has been actively promoting through social media in the buildup to the show. Membership to this band of Versace warriors was held to the highest standard and included eight models from across the Next global network including Anja Rubik, Grace Elizabeth, Selena Forrest, Marjan Jonkman, Grace Hartzel, Hiandra Martinez, Eniola Abioro, and Binx Walton. For Nigerian beauty Eniola, this show is but her second since debuting at Prada on Thursday, which is not a bad way to begin a first season. Whatever the future holds, Friday night these models were royalty.
