'Hello, my loves! If you follow my Instagram, you might have noticed I\'ve been on a bit of a sewing binge lately. Although I love sewing vintage-inspired garments, I\'ve never sewn from a true vintage pattern so I thought that would be a great thing to try out. Today we will be making a dress from Simplicity 8398 which came out in 1951 and features a square neckline, slashed shoulders, a skirt yoke and side zip. I will be using a cotton silk fabric I found at a KL fabric market which I\'ve had in my stash for years and I cannot wait. Sew, let\'s get started!
