It’s a custard pie that features a thin top “crust” that has a slight crisp to it, the next layer is light and airy and the final layer is pure creamy, custardy goodness! The taste reminds me so much of homemade vanilla ice milk with that light hint of lemon and cinnamon. It’s a simple, no-frills pie that tastes great alone or topped with fruit or fresh cream.
